Wellness (Annual) Exams

More to Come Soon!

Having an exam done once every 12 months is what allows us to keep our Veterinary Client Patient Relationship (VCPR) up to date. We can then provide your pets the quality and timely care they deserve and understand their medical history for any additional visits they may need throughout the year!

Vaccination Appointments

Talk with us so we can help you decide on a vaccination plan for your cat or dog. Each pet has a different lifestyle and part of Creekside's promise of "personalized care" is that there isn't a one size fits all vaccination plan. Through an open conversation we can find the right plan for your pet at this moment. And if life circumstance change we can change our vaccination approach along with it.

Dental Cleanings

A complete dental cleaning for your pet. Will include full mouth radiographs, any extractions needed, and full mouth cleaning. Pearly teeth, improved general health, and fresh breath are one appointment away!

During this procedure you pet will be under anesthesia and will be monitored by our highly skilled Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVT). We will take full mouth radiographs (x-rays) of your pets mouth to look for any issues hidden under the gingival (gums) and will scale, clean, and polish the teeth. If any extractions are needed we'll check with your first (to be sure are ok with it) and proceed with those if approval is given. Your pet will then wake up under the supervision of a CVT. You will be able to take your pet home the same day. They may need soft food for a few days depending on how extensive their procedure was. We will communicate all of this to you at your surgical discharge appointment.

VSMT (Chiropractic)

This can be a legitimate game changer for some animals. It is one of Dr. Hoffman's favorite modalities of medicine to perform as it can bring relief to animals that we just can't achieve with pharmaceuticals. Who can benefit: Elderly, Injured, Urinary Incontinence (50% success rate at getting off meds), Back Pain, Limping, Dragging limbs we see real observable results! The real magic can come in prevention of these issues however, so the young ones can get the most lifelong benefit. Testimonials coming soon!

Dr. Tanya Hoffman is certified in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy (VSMT) also known as “animal chiropractic”. VSMT is a gentle and non-invasive integrative manual therapy that may help with symptoms associated with dysfunction of the musculoskeletal and neurologic systems.

An adjustment includes gentle range of motion, traction and joint mobilization techniques and specific adjustments to restricted joints, resulting in the restoration of normal motion and alleviation of pain.

After a thorough initial examination, the doctor will determine if your pet is a good candidate for spinal manipulation and will make appropriate recommendations and adjustments. Veterinarians will only recommend spinal manipulation therapy if it is safe for your pet. If your pet is not a good candidate, she will explain why and suggest additional diagnostics and/or additional specialist consultations (if needed) to work towards a resolution for your pet’s clinical signs. Overall animals love their treatments and eagerly look forward to their visits.

Class IV Therapeutic Laser (Cold Laser)

Laser therapy is a noninvasive treatment designed to reduce pain and inflammation, and to speed healing. Please know all lasers are not created equal and Creekside has invested in the top of line! We've had GREAT success using our laser for urinary issues (especially for cats), ear infections, wounds surgical recovery, add on to medical management of cranial cruciate ligament tears, asthma and other lung issues, and pain/arthritis concerns. Just ask Jordy- it's great and so comforting to use.

WHAT IS LASER THERAPY?

Laser therapy is a noninvasive treatment designed to reduce pain and inflammation, and to speed healing. This treatment is quickly becoming standard of care in both human and veterinary medicine. Our staff members administer laser therapy via a handpiece that emits this therapeutic infrared light in a fast and soothing treatment. The light can treat surface problems such as wounds, as well as deeper structures (penetrating through fur, skin, and fat if necessary) to reach damaged tissue. The therapeutic infrared light targets the mitochondria in damaged cells and stimulates them to regenerate and  return to optimal function. This regenerative process is called photobiomodulation (PBM). Laser therapy can be utilized as an adjunct to existing treatments, often reducing or replacing the need for pain medications, and speeding healing.

WHAT ARE TREATMENTS LIKE?

Laser therapy treatments are fast and pain-free, making them well-tolerated by most pets. There is no clipping or shaving required for the treatment area. When your pet arrives for therapy they will be situated in a comfortable position, and may be outfitted with laser-safe doggles. You will also receive laser-safe eyewear to wear during treatment if you remain with your pet during therapy. Treatments take approximately 2 - 10 minutes depending on the patient size, treatment area, and condition being treated. During this treatment your pet will experience a soothing warmth that often relaxes patients, and sometimes makes them go to sleep! Some conditions require just one treatment, others will show maximum response after several treatment sessions. We will evaluate your pet and discuss our recommendations.

CAN LASER THERAPY HELP MY PET?

Laser therapy is an effective treatment for a wide variety of conditions including:

• Wounds • Arthritis• Skin Conditions • Inflammation • Pain •

• Post-Operative Recovery• Surgical Rehabilitation• Geriatric Care•

• Lick Granulomas • Otitis• Dental Conditions• Fractures•
